Roland is a German-born photographer who lives in Ireland. While he would be happy being based in a log cabin at the edge of a west coast cliffside, work demands require the vicinity of a city, motorways and airports. He lives just outside of Cork City.

Roland trained as a photographer with Vogelsänger Studios, one of the best advertising and product photography studios in Europe.

Emphasis in his work is on advertising, catalogue and general product photography; interiors, art, craft and stillife are all part of the scope of his work.
